More and more attention for composites, as Arnold Vaandrager was invited to speak at a masterclass of two days in Gent. The theme of the masterclass was mechanical testing and non-destructive testing. By the using real examples, Arnold told about realizing a high-end constructive element in a short period of time without having years of time for testing and development. Another topic was of course testing and certification of the ACCEDOO watertight/fire resistant doors. The masterclasses are organized by KU Leuven, University of Gent and Sirris.
